What can I say, I’m on a pork chops kick right now. The truth is, we always make Pork Chops but never like this. This Slow Cooker Pork Chops may be the easiest way to make pork chops ever.
I started this recipe by browning the pork chops for a few minutes on each side. The pork chops are seasoned with salt and pepper (so easy and so tasty). These chops get moved over to a bed of white onions and mushrooms.
In the same skillet, I browned the pork chops, combine the beef broth and the mushroom soup. This is the sauce the pork chops, mushrooms and onions will cook in for 6 hours. I readjusted this time because at 8 hours it’s a little dry. It’s best to check the meat temperature after 6 hours to see if it’s where you like it.
What you get is this beautifully slow-cooked pork chop with and onion and mushroom topping. Serve this with mashed potatoes or egg noodles for a wonderful dinner the family or you special someone will love.
Slow Cooker Pork Chops
Dinner is so easy when you can put everything in a slow cooker and let it do its thing. You will never believe how easy this Slow Cooker Pork Chops recipe is.
- 3-4 Pork Chops boneless
- Salt & Pepper
- 2 tablespoons Olive Oil
- 1 White Onion sliced
- 5-6 large Mushrooms sliced
- 1 can Mushroom Soup
- 1 can or 2 cups Beef Broth
Season pork chops on both sides with salt and pepper. In a large skillet, heat up the olive oil and brown the pork chops on both sides (about 3 minutes per side)
Remove the pork and add mushroom soup and beef broth to the pan. Heat up and whisk together until incorporated
Place cut up onions and mushrooms in the bottom of the slow cooker. Add the browned pork chops to the top of the mushrooms and onions. Pour the soup mixture on top
Cook on low for 6 hours or until the pork is at it’s perfect temperature. Serve with mashed potatoes or egg noodles.
I readjusted the time on this slow-cooker recipe. I changed it from 8 hours to only 6 hours on low in the slow cooker. It’s fine at 8 hours but not as moist. Enjoy
