Homemade Bulletproof Coffee

I fell in love with bulletproof coffee the first time I tried it! What’s not to love — it’s coffee with butter in it! Well kind of — there’s a lot more to it. This coffee is extremely beneficial to your health in so many ways.  And the best part is you can make Homemade Bulletproof Coffee at home whenever you want!

The original bulletproof coffee was created to help both your mind and body. It incorporates healthy, natural products into your coffee just like this recipe for Homemade Bulletproof Coffee.

The only difference is you can make this with your own products at home. And it so easy!

The key is having natural, grass-fed unsalted butter like this Irish Butter. You can find this in your own grocery store.

You also need organic Coconut Oil. This actually helps you lose fat.

You can brew whatever coffee you love. I used my Keurig Coffee Maker, to brew the strongest coffee I had in the house. You will need two cups of coffee for this recipe.

If you want the coffee to be a little sweeter, you can add heavy cream or vanilla extract or both. I used both to add a little sweetness to the coffee. But I also like it without it, so this is not a must!

Once you brew your coffee you will need to combine the coffee, butter and coconut oil. You can use a blender or an
immersion blender.

Mix it together until it forms a little foam on top, that is when you know it’s ready.

Pour it into your cup and enjoy!

This recipe makes 2 cups of Homemade Bulletproof Coffee! It’s a great alternative to coffee with heavy cream and sugar. It also gives you more energy for your day!

If you’ve ever wanted to try Bulletproof Coffee at home, here’s your chance.  This Homemade Bulletproof Coffee tastes just like the original!

Ingredients

  • 2 cups of Brewed Coffee (your choice)
  • 2 tablespoons Unsalted Butter (grass-fed)
  • 2 tablespoons Organic Coconut Oil
  • Heavy Cream (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract (optional)

Instructions

  1. Brew 2 cups of your favorite coffee and add to a mixing bowl or measuring cup
  2. Add the unsalted butter and coconut oil and mix with immersion blender or regular blender until it foams up on top
  3. Pour into a coffee mug and add heavy cream and vanilla extract for sweetness (optional)
  4. Enjoy
